I need to know as I’m currently studying access to health course and need to do my maths alongside.
My tutor is suggesting for me to do the functional skills maths. But if they don’t accept then I need to do the GCSE.

Did you find out the answer? When I rang them they said if you're over 21 they would accept functional skills. Let me know.

Hi,

For the BSc Operating Department Practise course, functional Skills may only be considered by the department on a case-by-case basis for mature applicants. If you are still concerned, it may be worth contacting the admissions department directly via email- [email protected]

You would have to meet rest of required criteria though.

Hope that helps and if you have any further questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Best wishes,

Anita
