Masters in Education : UCL, Sussex or Bristol?

Hi everyone!

I am not sure which one to choose and looking for advice:

- MA Educational Leadership at UCL
- MA International Education and Development at Sussex
- MSc Education (Policy and International Development) at Bristol

I am interested in potentially pursuing a PhD in the field of education and development/conflict part-time and working in the field of development and education full time.

I know UCL is highly regarded for education, but I'm not sure whether its MA is really on leadership at schools or is it more broad?

What would be a better bet between Sussex and Bristol?

Any other advice on other universities or courses which are great for the above (I can study in 2021 too ) will be highly appreciated!

Thank you!
MA Ed leadership is more about leadership in your personal setting. It is usually completed through action research - developing your own leadership practice in your school setting. As I understand, this probably wouldn't be for you. The Bristol course sounds better for you, as it will be more broad, taught and policy based, setting you up for your research in your PhD.

Thanks, that's helpful! I was inclined towards Sussex, but I'll dive into both of them again and see what's more in my field
