I did 6 in one year...I'm now doing AS level :P
Reply 3
We have to do 8.
Reply 4
I actually did 11 but I think of it as 10 (our school makes you do Single Science in Yr10 and Double in Yr11, so we effectively do the same exams twice).

5. Hah! :p:

we were only allowed to take 9 at my school, and everyone does; bar the special kids.

I did 10 if you include the r.s shortcourse I did as a full GCSE.

Reply 10
We were allowed to do 9. No more, no less.

11.5, considering RE as a half GCSE.

Im doing 10, it would be 10 1/2 if I included that short course in citizenship that I'm doing, but I don't so 10 it is.

Yeah same, at my school you could only do 9, and an optional GNVQ in ICT (which was the equivalent to 2 GCSEs)....but due to the "GNVQ" part, people thought it was far less credible!

1 in yr10 and 10 in yr11, so 11!
I did 10, or specifically 9.5:

English language
English literature
Maths
Double science
French
Food technology
History
RS (short course)
Media studies

I ended up with 1 A*, 6 As (including the short course) and 3 Bs. I also did AVCE ICT and got a D.
