So...anyone? Is it easy to sneak friends in and about? Is it easy to sneak friends into accommodation? Any proof of identity required?

No. I wouldn't bring anyone with me to fresher's week, after you've made friends and what not, sure why not occassionally. You can have two guests I think for entry into the Student Union and events, but they have to pay.

I'm not bringing any but a few of mine said they might come anyway. I hope not though, it's the time to meet new people.
