Not yet.. Still waiting for my uni timetable but feel like working weekends will give me time during the week to complete uni work but then again working on my days off during the week means I won’t have to work every saturday and sunday

Hi rosee101
It really does depend on your timetable and what’s best for you ! I know some students find it easier working on weekends because it’s not a rush and you can keep your work separate from your studies. It’s also good to work during the breaks as they are quite long especially the summer break !
Hope this helps

Hi rosee101

As the others have said it will depend on your time table. I worked as a student ambassador for various different roles such as events, open days and call centre. I found that I mainly worked evenings or when I had days off on the weekdays as I was not in uni every day.

Hi rosee101!!

It depends on your timetable! My timetable for the first year was full, so I could only work weekends. Others, on the other hand, had few days off during weekdays which enabled them to work. However, it is said to treat uni like a 9-5 job, and to only work on weekends. I guess it is up to you and if you're able to stay on on track and not fall behind !!

Looking into being a student ambassador! Its really fun and good money
