GCSE's won't affect you later on in your career, just make sure you pick ones you'll enjoy and that you get good grades in core subjects.
You aren't even required to pick specific A-levels, they're just recommended, so pick whatever subjects for GCSE's
Pretty much whatever you want.
You dont even need a law degree (i.e. llb) to become a lawyer.
do what you wanna just make sure you pass english and maths. maybe if you have to do a specific GCSE to do an alevel then id go for that.

in my school to do Politics Alevel you must pass english with a 7 and have done history in GCSE
It doesn't matter, but you might prefer doing subjects that you think you might want to then go on and do for A Level (i.e. History). Maybe have a look online see what subject people normally do so you'll know what GCSEs you need to make sure you have ones which allow you to do particular A Levels (some have a minimum of a 6/7 in related GCSE subject). Definitely encourage doing a language tho!

A language and a humanity is useful.
