Yoooo,

So I want to study Geography at uni, and I'm searching for courses that emphasise the fields of *sociology//philosophy//anthropology//politics*.
My A level grades are A*A B , so I am also looking for a traditionally high ranking uni as well!

Thanks!

Human Geography at the University of Cardiff? Entry requirements are AAB and it's accredited by RGS.
On the website it says: human geography is about where we live, how we live, and how we want to live. It is the study of people and places – the relations between policies, cultures, social behaviours, economies and environments.
It's also available in clearing this year, I think?

Or University of Edinburgh - Geography and Social Anthropology (entrance requirements AAA-AAB). UCAS link.

Or Geography at Durham University (A*AA) - you get a lot of choice for modules. Here's the link to the UCAS info page.

Cambridge Geography asks for A*AA and you can specialise in Geography from the second year (IB) onwards.

As above, look for courses that focus more on the human geography side of things (e.g. courses specifically in human geography, or at universities where that is emphasised e.g. LSE). Alternately, you may also want to look at courses just in (social) anthropology, or joint honours courses between geography and/or anthropology and other social sciences disciplines (e.g. the combined social sciences course at Durham or HSPS at Cambridge). The interaction between humans and their environment is quite central to anthropology, and a lot of the anthropological theory overlaps with sociological theory and relates to aspects of continental philosophy.
