1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
Went on trains by myself. Used to be terrified of public transport but not anymore :smile:

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
£1,000,000 (or more realistically, the first 1000 dp of pi in my memory)

17th December. The day I was told I was getting an Oxford offer.
I also lost my virginity but I really can't remember the date. (says it all really)

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Oxford. Full marks on Senior Maths Challenge. Finally nailing the fake triple in pen spinning. (something I've been working on since September last year).

9. What was your biggest failure?
Failing to beat 30 million on Ikaruga like I promised I'd do.

Outkast. Hey Ya. (released in 2003 but still)
That Pop Muzik song by whoever (M I think).
Madonna - True Blue and Red Box - For America remind me of the summer.
Bob the Builder - Mambo no.5 reminds me of the early months.

Getting up the courage to apply for Camp America. Passing 2 modules of my first year of uni.

Failing to pass two modules of my uni first year. Twice.

I sprained my wrist (or rather a friend did for me) during Euro 2004, when she jumped at me when England scored, bending my wrist back against the pool table in the pub. Had to wear a splint for a few weeks. Had a few xrays for suspected broken fingers from doing Karate, but nothing was ever broken.

Visited my nan and friends at their various unis across the country. Work at uni. Revision.

Self-Criticising, procrastinating, worrying over the tinyest things.

I'll be working on Christmas Eve, then on Christmas day I'll be having the traditional family scoff up/tv fest with brother and parents, then on boxing day - repeated but with other brother, sister, brother-in-law and neice as well. YAY!

I was 19. It was rubbish this year, compared to my 18th last year. I had a meal with my brother and parents at a local restaurant and I do believe that was about it. Oh! I remember! 1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
Move to a different country (i.e. England) all by myself.

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? Don't think I had one for 2004. This year it's going to be "get organised / become self-disciplined / get into a routine / get enough sleep"...and I'll try very hard to be good and keep it, and not preemptively rule out the possibility that it might actually work. (And then there's my *zoic* resolution, which I will likewise endeavor to keep)

hmm, generally more happier, less exhausted. more relaxed about work.. looking forward to Christmas even more because he's not 1000s of miles away..

19. it was in the summer, just before my exams. we had a big picnic in one of the meadows of my college's grounds.. oodles of Pimms & yummy food. then basically the entire JCR joined in with a BBQ later at the same place. & there was much punting going on! & my friend made a surprise visit back from the states that co-incided! :biggrin: :biggrin: :biggrin:

more money? then i would have gone on holiday, perhaps.
