Hey! So I did A-Level French and honestly, choosing a language at A-Level was the best decision that I made! It was quite tough in the first few weeks, but once I had got into the habit of revising vocab every night and constantly reading articles to broaden my vocabulary it gradually became easier, so it was no harder than any of my other subjects. It's much more fun than GCSE as you actually learn to comprehend and converse in the language, so it was definitely the most rewarding A-Level that I took. Also, it's the only subject where your teachers will encourage you to watch Netflix as homework
I'm taking a gap year right now but next year I'm going to be studying French with History! (although I'm debating whether to take a straight languages degree!)
