It was for English. At my uni, all resits are capped at 40. I could have got 100% but 40% is what I was capped at!

I got my results back today (checked on evision) and I passed thank god.

My letter said that the exam board are meeting on the 15th with results being posted that day.

Mine says after the 17th which is when they're meeting :s:

edit: They said "The September examination results will be available as soon as possible after 17th September" on the letter.

Meh.

And what is this capping thing? Does it apply to wbs resits?

I think what it meant by capping is that the score you get in resits isn't incorporated into your score for the year, you just resit the exam in order to pass the module.
That it? :s

No.

My coursework resit was capped at Grade D. So, even if I did an A-grade standard essay, I would still only get a D for it. At my uni, D is the minimum requirement for a pass.

Economics definitely do and I think actually it's a university-wide policy? To prevent 'strategic resits' lol. Good luck with your resits everyone

Gosh, I didn't intend to get nervous :frown:.
I'm going to twiddle my thumbs all night and hope the post arrives.

Has anyone else doing resits enrolled? Or is my guess that I can't reenrol until results are in accurate?
