Does anyone know what's up with the ryzen cpu prices? I found a 2600x for £133 but 1600s and AF version are nearly £200????

Market prices for components fluctuate a lot of the time, and they'll probably come down in price at some point. That said, I do agree that £200 is really high for a 1600X, especially considering that you can get the vastly better 3600 for less than that.

I just found an article which indicates that the 1600 and the 1600af series will be discontinued, I understand the price increase better now... 😅😅

Everyone's getting the 3600 anyway, which should be about £160.

A limited supply of 1600s and AFs raise the prices higher.
