Should I stick with btec applied science and a level psychology?

Hi, I'm going into yr12 now and I didn't get a chance to do my GCSEs cause of corona. I wanted to do btec applied science, psychology and sociology but found out on enrollment day that btec applied science level3 is worth 2 a levels.I decided to stick with btec applied science and psychology but now after talking to a friend, I'm unsure. I don't know if I should stick with my original choice or choose 3 a levels e.g. eng lit, sociology and psychology. Apparently, unis like 3 a levels better and you have a higher chance to getting into the course you wanna do if you choose 3 a levels? What should I do? I still have a chance to change my choices in September after the first 2 weeks when school starts.

Depends what you wanted to do at university but yes you could have more options by doing 3 a levels.

I'm thinking about doing radiotherapy when I go to uni and I checked the requirements that I can do it with btec applied science as long as I take another science subject e.g. psychology. The only reason why I'm kinda unsure is that unis prefer 3 a levels but if I take eng lit, sociology and psychology, the only thing I can study in uni seems to be psychology and I'm not really keen in studying that. Should I stick with my choice?

Ah in that case if you're set on radiotherapy and you can't do biology or chemistry a levels, then yes do applied science and psychology

If you want to do radiotherapy, you shouldn't do THOSE 3 a-levels, because there probably won't be enough science content (might vary uni to uni, but I feel like a science requirement will be fairly universal).
What you could do it do something like biology, chemistry and psychology, or any science a-levels, but if that's not possible for any reason, I would stick with your current choices.
