Master’s in nursing

Does anyone on here know how a master’s degree in nursing is actually studied?

Would you have to ideally join it straight after completing your nursing degree? Or do most people who do it wait till they have gained a few years experience working as a nurse?

And how is the course taught? Is it intended to be done whilst working full time or after going part time/becoming a bank nurse for the duration of the course??
Hi @curly123x

At Greenwich For Msc Nursing we require an honours degree in any subject so this does not need to be nursing. Experience of working in a health care setting is also required.

In my experience most people do this course to try and get into nursing after studying a different subject at undergraduate level.

The course is offered 2 years full-time and offers a 10-14 week placement. As the course is full time, you wouldn't be able to work full time alongside studying.

Hope this helps
