International Relations degree + A-levels

I want to do international relations as a degree and I am about to choose my A-levels but I'm not too sure if these subjects are the best (keep in mind I am applying to two different sixth forms so they will have different subject choices)

So in the first sixth form, I've narrowed my choice to:
Government & Politics,
Russian,
Sociology,
Psychology,
English Lang
English Lit

And in the 2nd sixth form, the choices are:

English Lang
English Lit
psychology,
Sociology,

All your subjects appear to be essay based which is what most IR courses ay Uni require, nothing specific subject wise so just whichever sixth you prefer I guess.
I'd recommend doing Politics, Psych, Sociology, Lit/Russian-whichever you get the highest grades in
