-Electrons and Bonding

-Shapes of Molecules and Intermolecular Forces (This is a plus I don't expect to get this far!)

What I want to complete for Physics Today:

-Further Mechanics

-Electromagnetic Radiation and Quantum Phenomena :tux:

What I want to complete for Maths Today:

-Indicies and Surds

-Quadratic Functions

-Polynomials

Wow - this is so organised and your blog is so pretty!
Which app do you use to make these?
Good luck with your predicted grades - I'm sure you'll get given the grades you need for uni instead of Bs/Cs!

For the TimeTable I used GetRevising Online, I think its part of like TSR Franchise, I might be wrong...but its really good to get organised! Thanks it took me around 5 Hours :giggle:

Thanks again, I really hope I do, I am hoping through this blog, I will be able to post my journey from going from a "BBC Student" to an "AAA Student" in one year! Lets hope everthing goes as planned this year! :yep:

Are you goint to do the Autum Exams? Or did you get the grades you needed? :tux:
Its OK :console:
I've just finished my gap year (covid restricted ofc) I got these results last year. Fortunately, some unis, such as Cardiff, considered my special circumstances, and gave me an offer I am gonna be starting at Cardiff in a couple of weeks

Know I have been going to that church as a kid, so we all know each other already, but under the circumstances yes we have been using Whatsapp!

I was kind of brought up into it and missing Sunday School is seen as bad, and we have exams for them so we have to pass them

:headfire: WELCOME TO MY GYG :headfire:

:woo: My first ever GYG :woo:

Hi everyone :hello:, welcome to my first ever GYG I don't know if I am scared :afraid: or excited  but either way I know I want to put a lot of effort into this because its quite personal to me. I have never really found learning as something fun (until recently anyways), I was one of the cruisers I think they call it during GCSE’s, this was due to many factors, I had a lot of Anxiety, suffered a lot from bullying, and not to mention missing a couple years of school, because I was sent of to a boarding school. All this combined, I cracked and I needed an escape, and there it was "Gaming", it was an easy option to fall onto due to the fact I could make new friends on there who don't know me personally to judge me and all the cared about was if I was good at the game, and ofcourse I was because I was breathing "Gaming" at that point, so I underperformed for my GCSE's. I had no one to help me out and put me in the right direction, so I messed up a big crucial part of my life and knowing that I could have done a lot better than I did, till this day hurts me...BUT enough of all that negativity :viking:, why I made this thread is to show people that its never really late to turn things around! :yeah: My first year of my A Levels didn't go as planned due to the Corona Virus, which meant my teachers had to predict what I would get, and like I said, during my GCSE's I wasn't the best student, so I was not predicted all A's, even though I worked really hard during Y12, it came down to my teachers looking at my GCSE's and making a realistic judgement of what they think I could have done...it was quite annoying  but I can't really dwell on the past now...so lets try and make sure I am 100% ready for the upcoming January MOCK's :yep: .

My A-Level's

  • Chemistry (OCR A)
  • Physics (AQA)
  • Maths (OCR A)

My GCSE Grades

Spoiler:

  • English Language - 6
  • English Literature - 6
  • History - 6
  • Spanish (Foundation) - 5
  • Computing - 5
  • Design and Engineering - 5

My Predicted Grades

Spoiler:
Show
  • Chemistry (OCR A) - B
  • Maths (OCR A) - B

My Plan And What To Do When It Goes Down The Ditch

Spoiler:
Show

I want to apply for Chemical Engineering, and the Universities that I want to apply to are:

  • Nottingham
  • Manchester
  • Sheffield
  • Leeds
  • Bradford

There is only one in here that I can actually apply for so, I need to ask my teachers, if by any chance I could a Internal MOCK to show them I have improved...if not I will have to apply through Adjustment/Clearing...which is going to be very stressful  .
