gum recession from retainer

I've noticed that every morning my retainer makes my gums go puffy and then lately my gums keep receding and receding and I'm only 14 so I'm so scary, I also thing my dentist gave me fillings when my teeth had no issues (upper molars) and I'm so upset because my teeth look ****ed up at the gumline now and I have fillings so eventually will have to do root canal as each filling touches the nerve deeper and deeper...
Retainers don’t cause gum recession because if worn correctly they shouldn’t be touching your gums.
You’ve said that your gums become puffy and that they’re receding - these are signs of gum disease and one of the causes is poor or incorrect oral hygiene at the gum line which might be involved here.
I don’t have any details about your fillings (radiographic) so I don’t really know what to say about that.
Disclaimer: this is not a diagnosis and you should definitely see your dentist. Explain to them what you’ve said here so that they can advise you what to do next.
