Hello, I'm a student studying Mechanical Engineering at UCL and will begin my 2nd year soon. I will try to get an internship at a BB investment bank in London this summer and was wondering if I have a good chance, given that it's extremely competitive. Due to coronavirus, I didn't take any summer exams, just passed onto year 2 so I don't have many grades to show. My A levels are pretty good, I have A* in Physics and Mathematics and A in Chemistry.

Regarding extracurriculars, I did a 3-week internship this summer in PwC's branch in my country, Greece, and worked at a local football camp for another 2 weeks (paid). I also did 12 months of mandatory military conscription in Greece.

What do you think about my case, do I have a shot?

Of course you have a shot but you have definitely outlined what may be precluding you from getting an internship.
