I stayed in tocil last year and tbh it's not the best of the best. It was a bit meh imo with nothing much special about the accommodation itself. But you share a flat with 12 people and from what I've heard, you share a flat with 8 people if you're on the top floor. Some pros to mention is how close it is to central campus. If your lectures, or future lectures (covid allowing) are on the central campus, it'll take you less than 5 minutes to walk there so you can literally just roll out of bed. It's also very close to the cannon shopping centre when you compare it to other accommodations. Sharing a bathroom wasn't a problem (3 shower rooms and 1 bathroom between 12 people). But the kitchen is on the smaller size, especially for 12 people. In my own experience, I didn't find it too social so if you're the social kind, rootes is the better option (and btw rootes isn't that bad, new rootes is actually decent imo).
