Physio: Shadowing experience in Covid times

I had 2 physiotherapy shadowing placements set up for April and May this year, but in March I received an email saying they've suspended any non-essential placements (understandably).
Obviously I was using the experience from these to firstly decide if I enjoy physio, and secondly to talk about in my PS and potential interview for 2021 entry.
Going forward, it seems we're about to enter a second wave of coronavirus, and don't see these placements being available at least in the next 6 months. So my question is; how are potential physiotherapy students gaining the experience to apply for the course? Obviously we're all in the same situation, but I didn't wanna say "I would have done a placement here" at an interview, it leaves me nothing to talk about experience wise.
Any ideas? What are people currently doing about this?

I am in a very similar position, had 2 placements for April and July cancelled unfortunately and I'm not very hopeful I'll get to obtain any before I send in my application/do my interview, so these are a few things I've been doing:

Have a look on the CSP website for news and to gain an understanding of the profession, there's also a website I've been using called physiopedia - https://www.physio-pedia.com/home/ - which has a few free online courses relating to physio which I've really enjoyed. Also the website https://www.clinicalphysio.com/ does free webinars most weeks on a range of physio topics.

Remember that most people are in the same boat with placements! (I know at Nottingham they are not expecting us to have work experience for 2021 entry, probably other unis are doing a similar thing)

I hope this helps! Where are you thinking of applying to?
