Hi again Grace,

You're welcome, yes I would definitely take up the opportunity to get to know Hallam!

You can find general tips from our admissions team about writing your personal statement in this video. On the open day you will be able to chat directly to our applications team who may be able to give you advice on writing a personal statement for our teaching and education courses specifically and answer any other questions about your application.

You can also post in our official applicant thread or create your own thread in the uni applications forum looking for personal statement tips for teaching and education courses and hopefully some students will come forward to offer their advice.

I hope that's helped, good luck with your application!

I was actually really surprised when I went into my first lesson on my Access to HE course. I thought I was going to be surrounded by younger people but the majority of my class is people in their mid to late twenties.
