Really depends on the university, back when I applied I got an offer from Birmingham in a week but it took nearly 3 months for Imperial to get back to me

Alright. 2nd year a fair bit busier than 1st, more of an emphasis on mathematical methods early on compared to other uni courses - that's my impression, at least. If you want all the details then I've done blogs on here too.

Sheffield ABB
Southampton ABBC
Predicted AAAA in Maths, Physics, Biology and Geography.
Waiting for Oxford but not holding my breath.

Manchester: Physics, A*A*A including maths and physics (received 19/11/2020 after an interview on 17/11/2020)
Durham (St. Cuthbert's): Natural Sciences, A*AA
Lancaster: Physics with a year abroad, AAA including maths and physics (received 06/11/2020)

Rejections:
Cambridge (Emmanuel): Natural Sciences

My daughters there in first year of her integrated masters for Physics Particle Physics and Cosmology. The teaching there she says is excellent.
