Hi. Can someone please explain this to me?

“A student may be compensated for marginal failure (30-39%) in a maximum of 36 credits, in which case the student is not required to undertake reassessment.”

Where did you take that from? 36 credits seems like an odd number, surely a typo unless you degree has a unusual marking system, more context is needed to answer.

It was just written on my uni’s academic regulations

Yeah I would assume that it was 30 credits and not 36...
