Mine is True Colors by Kristin Hannah
The Broken Earth trilogy by NK Jemisin. My favourite book out of the trilogy is probably Obelisk Gate.
Another one I really liked was the Priory of the Orange Tree by Samantha Shannon.

I have a few (sorry!)
- a thousand splendid suns
- the kite runner
- what she couldn't tell you
- it's all in your head
- this is going to hurt
- brain storm
- the man who mistook his wife for a hat
- when breath becomes air
- your life in my hands
- being mortal
- do no harm

Dickens is great, I also like Jules Verne and Dumas.
I also think that War and Peace is overrated (Anna Karenina is meant to be better) and I prefer Dostoevsky.

“The courage to be happy “

A self help book, but it helped me so much that when I finished it I did a standing ovation in my room 😂
Got weird looks from my sister ofc lollll

But my favourite novel is “East West Street”. Non-fiction book of an international lawyer’s journey uncovering his family secrets that lead him to the Nuremberg trial. A memoir and historical detective story basically

Wind in the willows is great especially with the Ernest Shepard illustrations.

Did you know that the inspiration for Toad was Kenneth Grahame's near blind son who committed suicide because he couldn't join the army?
