Hi guys, thanks for reading this thread

I've just joined sixth form and I have a crush on this guy who is in my year.
I only met him two weeks ago but his smile and personality are sooo cute!

I want to flirt with him and hopefully get him to ask me out for lunch or something, but he is a bit immature (not in a bad way, he's definitely polite and everything but a bit childish if y'all know what I mean? He likes teasing his friends and stuff like that) and I feel like it will take a lot for him to do it.

MAYBE I should ask him out for lunch or after school, but so far I've been making the first moves so I kinda want to make sure I'm not overdoing it.
Right now we are sort of friends (?) as in, we walk to/from lessons together, do small talk and say hi if we're passing by each other.

Any advice would be hugely appreciated !

Hi. So in my opinion the childish part can't be change. Firstly try to find out his previous relationships. If it's his first time he will mature while dating you. Have you ever dated?
Secondly throw him hints, but not so much that he starts feeling u desperate. Smile with him more and hug him properly. Okay I see how u may not understand what I mean by properly. Don't do friendship hugs but eish I don't know how to explain. And if his slow in catching up be a boos lady and ask him out. But make sure u certain that he likes u back. I have so much other flirt ideas which worked for me but I need a little mo detail, like is he in your class, how tall are you, etc. Anyway goodluck baby girl!
And pls, I know I might have made alot of spelling error and so on. Please understand I was typing really quick.🤩😘

Woahh thank you soooo much Vanessa! That's really helpful
I haven't even hugged him in a friendly way yet, I think I should start by body touch! (idk when to do it tho)
As for the details,
- I've never dated, I haven't asked yet if he has (how do I ask him though without sounding desperate?!?!)
- He's in just one of my classes (sometimes I have it right before lunch, sometimes it's the last lesson)
- I'm short and he's quite tall
- I see him at the common room quite often, but he's in a group with just boys and they're all on one sofa, I don't know his friends that well, and so I haven't really hung out with him there

Also, if you could tell me how to know if he likes me back as well that would be fantastic!

Perfect!!! I am really happy today I'll tell u soon about my awkward encounter with my crush soon. I am still dressing the wounds of embracment. If he going to be in class after school you should let him escort you to the gate of your school or something and say good bye, hug him, blush, and then run. Not exactly run. This will be the biggest clue, if he does not still get it then he is dum. Not in a bad way lol. The next day he will approach you. Make the hug long (not to long, it's only the first time) and on the shoulder. Try to make friends with atleast one of his friends. Don't ask him about his past relationship. That is the worst thing u could make a guy tell while u in the friends zone but ask one of your friend who might know him. Anyway good night in my side, I off to homework. Talk to u later.

I'd say continue w the casual flirting and continue to spend more time w him to get closer, maybe hang out w him more etc like at lunch or something. Are you guys texting? Because that can definitely help I think, lol take what I say w a pinch of salt as I've never acted on any of my crushes so good luck!
Please update me on how it goes lol

Please get over guys we're not "cute". This is the equivalent of when some wet simp fantasises over a girl because he can only see her body and not her personality. We all go through this worshipping phase, and believe me it's one you'll want to leave behind. If he acts like a child, then that's what he is. As for him being "cute", just imagine him doing all the nasty stuff you do, and that should stop that quickly. Just stick to your studies and you won't have to suck up to cheap men. Don't let him friend zone you either. Don't let him convince yourself that you want to "just be friends". He sounds like the type of person that would manipulate people like you who don't know this game yet. We all get taken over in moments of weakness, but don't let that stop you from acing your subjects. What are you taking for A-Level anyways?

I can't wait to hear about your crush too... oof I love girls talks!
And honestly your advice is sooo helpful, I'm so excited to try out the things you said next week
Do you think it's ok if his friends find out I like him, or should I try and hide it cos they might tease him??

I have his number but haven't texted him lmaoo
What should I text? I also heard guys find it annoying when a girl over-texts them, is this true?!
I also don't rly know what "casual flirting" looks like, do I just talk, give compliments and touch his arm or sth?
Aw I know it's scary to act on your crush, I still am, but at the same time I love spending time with him
Ofc I'll give updates xo
