BSc Animal Behaviour - MMU or Chester?

Hey,
I'm considering studying animal behaviour at either Chester or Manchester Metropolitan and was wondering if anyone could tell me about their experience on either of these courses. P.s. Did you have to do an interview?

Thanks

I did animal behaviour at MMU a few years ago and loved it! The staff at the uni were all very friendly and helpful, plus Manchester is a great city city to live in, loads going on. I didn't have to do an interview, but it was a few years ago so don't know if that's still the case. The course itself was good, I particularly enjoyed the animal behaviour, zoo conservation and stats modules. I feel like I got a lot of scope on my project too in terms of designing and running it, and the lab tech was so so helpful throughout helping get all the equipment sorted and maintining my setup when i couldn't be in (i lived a fair way away).

Hello!

Thank you for considering the University of Chester!

If you have yet to find out about the University of Chester Animal Behaviour course then we have a couple of opportunities for you to chat to our students. We have our online chat at www.chester.ac.uk/ask where you can message our current students, who will be completely honest with you about their university experience, and our academic staff from the Animal Behaviour course. Otherwise, you can join us on our next Virtual Open Day on 5th December from 11am until 3pm where you can talk to Animal Behaviour lecturers and students. To book your place please visit www.chester.ac.uk/opendays.

We can confirm that the University of Chester Animal Behaviour course doesn't interview.

I hope this helps!

Alex

Hey I’ve applied for animal behaviour and conservation with the year abroad for this September. Is that what you have chosen? x
