it's tricky as you can't intentionally make yourself homeless, you'll need to check your councils specific rules.

It's difficult because you're living in someone else's house and I'm assuming paying no rent, hence why they ask for work from you. If you tried to work things out and nothing has happened, you'll need to either move back in with your family and get a divorce (because you mentioned you're leaving him anyways) and move on with life.

Try speaking to Shelter. They’ll have information about how you could get help because, like someone else said, it’s much harder to get help if you intentionally make yourself homeless (i.e. just choose to move out).
