what does it mean if your crush is a dry texter? - guys please help me

my guy friend - crush- pretty much always texts 'yeman' (yeh man) and bro it's kinda getting annoying now ngl.
like after pretty much every statement i get a text from him saying that.
idk he says it a lot, but even when i ask him questions, i usually either get just a simple 'no' or a basic 'yes'.
he is really lovely in general - very caring and sweet but that idk?
what does it mean?
Either he’s just boring no offence lol or he’s just nervous texting you so he keeps it simple

Some people just aren't good at texting. Doesn't mean anything more than that probably. Does he show flirtatiousness or interest irl?
