UCAS said personal statement should be maximum 47 lines.
In my word proccessor, is it 47 lines of A4? Or any other size?

It's approximately 500-550 words using size 12 font. The character limit is 4000. If you paste your statement into UCAS it'll tell you whether you're under or over the limit.

I put together a couple of templates - one Google Docs, one Microsoft Word - which exactly mimic the line lengths in the UCAS form. If you edit your personal statement in one of these templates, and keep an eye on the character count, you can be sure it will paste into UCAS OK. Here are the templates:

If you find them useful, can you let me know? Or also if you find any problem?
