Get that bread! Toastie's first year gyg

hello i know i said i wasn't sure if i was going to do a gyg again but hey ho here i am...ready to get that bread

who am i?
so...i'm toastie, a just about 18 year old who's starting uni soon and this is my forth gyg blog (this is last year's one if you'd like to give it a read!)
uhh i like playing guitar and rock climbing. i also picked up knitting and rollerblading as hobbies in lockdown i'm not sure i'll keep up all of these at uni but we'll see...
i'll be studying economics and global sustainable development
at warwick (where i'll also be living) which seems like a really exciting course and it'll be nice to be learning things again

it seems like it's going to be a strange first year thanks to corona! i am quite worried about what it's going to be like, how i'll cope with the online learning stuff and how i'll be able to make friends but i suspect a lot of people are feeling the same way and it'll be okay

uhh so...am i feeling prepared? sort of
i sorted out my move in date (after several hours of waiting for pages to load ugh) and have bought most of the stuff i need (i.e plates, bedding, a laundry basket etc)
i still need to register with the gp and sort out some other medical stuff but i think i'll get it done over the next week so still a while before i get there
i had a bit of a panic about not knowing stuff in econ last week so have since been brushing up on my maths and reading an econ book
i'd forgotten how much i enjoy calculus
