I've just transitioned from Year 12 into Year 13 and we're beginning to talk about our coursework and having to start writing it up. With it being cover season and teachers not being clear about objectives I'm confused about which novel to pick and write about. I wanted to apply it to either an eco critical lense or marxism, but I'm really unsure about which book to use. Baring in mind all my class have books selected and I'm sat there looking like a tool. ANY HELP PLEASE

Pick a book you enjoy and understand. This is because you will be expected to read it 4 times. However, your relationship with your teacher is crucial as your coursework’s success is based on his/her interpretation of the mark scheme (this may be different from another teacher’s).
