If I move somewhere else for uni a) do i need to re-register/update where I live so in the future I can vote?
b) how if yes. c) can i do this anyways?

Uni students can register both their home address and their uni address for electoral purposes but you can only vote once either at home or your uni constituency. And yes, you can ask for work experience with your uni MP - just drop them an email asking if it's possible and go from there.

To answer the question in the title, yes theres nothing stopping you. Alas, many of the MP's who take on student interns tend to do it through universities as opposed to being propositioned by random students. Can't hurt to try though.
