Confused about COVID self isolation rules

Sorry for such a silly question. My sister is in Year 7 and goes to a different school to me and has been told she must stay at home alongside the rest of her year due to two students displaying COVID symptoms. I would like to ask what that means for me, do I have to stay at home as well? I am in Year 13 and home learning is a recipe for disaster for me. I am a bit worried because I currently am displaying (what I believe to be) allergy symptoms, namely, itchy throat, blocked nose, itchy cough and sneezing and she also has a sore throat. Any advice most appreciated or links to advice would be great. Do I need to tell my school?

You only need to isolate if she begins to display symptoms.

I think you should probably inform your school of your sister's situation. They'll be able to advise you on what to do next and whether or not you need to self-isolate.
