Hello this is really worrying me, I got a UCAT of 2900, Band 2, GCSEs are 999987777, achieved A levels: A*A*A, what should I do, what was the reason you got rejected and did you end up getting an offer, Is there that you wish you knew before so I can avoid making the same mistakes. I would really appreciate your help.

Hi I’ve just recently gone into year 13 and was hoping to apply to KCL, Bart’s, Cardiff and Plymouth.

I’m predicted A*AA and in GCSE got 9887776666. My UCAT score is 2820 B3.

Please could anyone let me know my chances for these uni’s and any other suitable options for me.

What is your GCSE B and 5 in?
Unless you can get AAA predicted, you won't meet the A Level requirements for any dental school, unless you are eligible for contextual offers.
If you can get it to AAA and assuming the B and 5 are not in the science/maths/English, you can apply to any dental school except those asking for A*AA (which is KCL, Barts and Plymouth)

Is 88877664 good enough for dentistry

Predicted A*A*A*A* (inc. Bio, Chem, Maths)
2760 B2
GCSEs are horrible. Two 9s, two 8s but the rest 7s or lower. English is 8.
Very strong reference, PS and WEX.
No flags apart from 1st gen univ. applicant.

I would personally go for king college London, you've got good academics which KCL gives more emphasis than QMUL, plus QMUL have just changed their selection process to rank based on UCAT mainly rather than a weighting given to UCAS tariff points. PS, are you Welsh? Because Cardiff give priority to Welsh applicants, so if you can maybe look for an alternative to Cardiff? Lmk what you decide on in the end.

Hi,
When did QMUL change their selection process,it is still mentioned ucas tariff on their website
Appreciate any information

I’m currently studying Maths Biology Chemistry at College (Y13)
I am predicted A*,A*,A (A in maths)
My GCSEs are : 9998888885 ( 9 in Biology,Physics and RE)
My UCAT is : 2820 Band 2
I am part of a pathways scheme to Birmingham so my required grades are AAB so that is my preferred university

Which university would you suggest if I want to stay close to Birmingham.

Hi there, doing this on behalf of a sibling.

She is currently Y13, studying Maths, Biology, Chemistry

Predicted: ABA / AAA , in order of the listed A-levels. Biology has not yet been predicted, hence the 2 sets of predicted grades. Apologies for the inconvenience.

GCSES: 988877766

UCAT: 2630 Band 2

WEX:

Volunteering at primary and secondary schools

Hospital related work experience including shadowing and building of practical skills

NHS cadets

Tutoring

Building dentistry-related practical skill work shops with dental students

Which Universities would you recommend? All would be preferable. She also qualifies for pathways/partner schemes (1st gen university applicant, BAME/BME, postcode)

Thank you 😊
