I've been experiencing a twitching toe that throbs intermittently with pain and as a result I cannot sleep. Can anybody give me an idea of what this issue could be?

It might just be cramped up? Massage it and make sure your drinking enough water.

It wasn't cramped up and the pain was gout-like. I suffer from gout and this pain was between the third and fourth toes-so thought it could be Morton's Neuroma, but the pain has since quelled and I was able to sleep well.
