Height privilege

I'm 6''4 and find that myself and others in my situation are systematically demeaned due to our height.

- I'm sick and tired of hearing "Do you play basketball?"
- I'm sick and tired of hearing "How's the weather up there?"
- I'm sick and tired of shorter folk bumping into us - as if we aren't visible
- I'm sick and tired of walking into shops and not finding my size, if that's for shoes or clothes
- I'm sick and tired of being sexualised by women
- I'm sick and tired of walking through 6ft doorways and the constant risk of injury

Amongst other things.

Why are we talking about this more?

- I'm sick and tired of taller folk bumping into and stamping on us - as if we aren't visible

I haven't saw any women sexualising a 6'4 guy. All i ever heard women talk about a 6'4 guy is that he is a giraffe.
6' to 6'2 is the perfect height which girl sexualise. Above 6'2 is nothing but toooo tall.

And i can say that your life is pretty much ****ed up when you are that tall. A girl will be up for one night stand with you, but i doubt they will take you as their bf or husband. Same thing goes with guys below 5'6.

Phrases like"tall privilege" and "thin privilege" just make a mockery of "white privilege" which is an actual problem.

You're different. That's all. You're noticeably taller than average, so doors won't be made thinking of you. And to be honest, the stuff that short men go through is a lot worse than what tall men go through. I'm sorry that being considerably tall has its challenges, but when comparing this to male privilege and white privilege, you'll see how silly this is. It's not ideal, but it's not talked about more because there are much worse things to worry about.

Wtf this is the stupidest thing ever, if anything you actually have an advantage being a tall human being. Also I'm a girl and no height doesn't matter as long as you're above 5'5 or if you're 5'5-5'10 and don't look like skinny twig that would get blown away in the wind.
