if you are in a position whereby you can commute from home then probably not as you could save money same goes if your classes are online, however if you're doing face to face lessons and you live far away from campus then you're better off staying on campus

Just to add on to that, I have an offer of accomodation on my university campus halls of residence but I’m not sure if staying at uni is going to be worth it. I could commute for 1hour door to door for a lot cheaper than accomodation rent would be.
