HI. I take Biology, Chemistry, and Psychology for A-levels but I want to do something mathsy too. My teacher suggested this. Has anyone done it? Is it easy or super difficult? Any advice I would be super grateful. Because I would have to get an A for it to be worth my time. I got an 8 at GCSE maths and I had to work so hard for it aha. (All my other subjects were 9s) so comparatively it was my worst. IDKKKK. I would take AS maths but my college doesn't offer it.

Does your college offer economics? This could be a good alternative that would open up other doors if you enjoyed it.

AQA Level 3 certificate in Core Maths is an AS sized qualification and covers some useful Maths stuff for people doing subjects like Biology, Psychology and Geography but for whom A Level Maths (or even AS) would be a bit tricky. It is a lot easier than AS Maths - I've known a couple of people do both and they got E/U in AS Maths and B/A in Core Maths. Despite this it gets you the same number of UCAS points.
