Is it worth doing Music Grading? (6,7,8) for UCAS points to apply for Oxbridge.

I play piano and sax, and have never bothered doing a grading. I could probably do grade 8 in piano, but im mid a levels and you have to do a grade 5 exam first so i would need to do minimum of 2 exams including learning everything to do them.

So, my question is: Is it worth it? How much do top end universities value this type of stuff?

And the degree I would be doing would be completely unrelated something like maths, engineering, possibly even some sort of finance idk yet.

If you're applying for a STEM subject, it's not worth the stress/effort just to get the UCAS points tbh :nah:

Are UCAS points still a thing? Either way, I don’t think many unis (esp. Oxford) would care unless you’re planning to study music

It will make no difference to your university application.
