Just wondering if anyone can help me with these
1) prove that y=2x is a tangent to the curve y=4x-x^2-1 find the coordinates of the point of contact
2) state the axis intercepts, in exact form for the curve y=12e^x-4e^2x

1. Differentiate the 4x-x^2-1, and put the sum into y=2x and there is only one solution. So it is the tangent.
2. (0,1)
