Ronseal thread. Don't bother with handhelds/phone games. If you can't quite remember the initial game, just move on to whatever game came next. OK, i'll get this rolling with mine haha.

Transbot on Master System
Sonic 2 on Mega Drive
Virtua Fighter on 32X
Air Combat on PS1
Mario 64 on N64
Blue Stinger on Dreamcast

I am surprised that I almost exactly now what my first games were (I have looked for some in my drawer).

Firsts NES games: Mega Man 3, Mega Man 4
First SNES game: Super Mario World
Firsts Game Boy games: Super Mario Land, Mega Man I
First N64 game: Super Mario 64

I am done with it, noggins!

In the order that I bought them:
Megadrive - Sonic 1
Swapped Megadrive for a SNES. A big mistake but Super Mario World was fun, if kind of rushed feeling. Years later, I got a Megadrive again.
PS1 - Crash Bandicoot. Probably also Resident Evil at the same time.
Gamecube - Luigi's Mansion and Super Monkey Ball.
Xbox - Jet Set Radio Future
N64 - Mario 64 was bundled. End of line new stock. I first bought Banjo Kazooie second hand.
Dreamcast. Good as new condition, bought online. Jet Set Radio.
PS3 - Heavenly Sword on fat PS3. I took the fat PS3 back under 14 day return and later got the next, slimmer, version with Uncharted and Uncharted 2.
PS2 - bought new online. Haunting Ground.
PS4 - probably a digital indie game. The Order 1886 might be the first physical disc I bought for it.
Switch - Super Mario Odyssey
