Hi everyone
I am a 22 yr old female without much work experience, I want to do an engineering access course next year (2021 because of the current pandemic) to eventually study physics at university.

I also plan to teach myself Alevel maths this year because of my free time. The reason is because i want to get a better chance at applying to russel group unis in london.
For whatever reason i am limited to choosing unis in london only so i dont have much with just the ACHE.

Anybody know if this extra a level increases my chance at getting to uni's like UCL, imperial etc? I have already checked the websites and they dont accept access courses. If I proved my mathematic capability with the extra Alevel will this change things for me at all?

If you have target unis in mind, your best bet would be to contact them directly and ask.
