Hi. So yesterday, I moved into the uni accommodation and I am the only person in my flat. From what I've understood, 1 room is empty, while the other remaining 2 were supposed to move in today but they didn't. Also, the accommodation itself is almost empty and I am starting to think I've made a mistake coming here considering the course will be a mix of online and f2f lessons.

What should I do?

Wouldn't you still have to pay for the accommodation either way, even if you decide to move back home.

If you are able to not pay and go home then It would probably be beneficial since I doubt there will be much in-person lectures for subjects that don't require practicals

But if you have to pay anyways, you might as well stay. your flatmates may come in a couple of days and weeks

Don’t worry! I’m the only one for a few days. One flatmates said that she changed her day because she had something to go to. If you’re really worried maybe email the student accommodation office. They’ll probably tell you when they’re moving in. I made myself text the gc and visited some other flats. Xx
