is GCSE music worth it

I am in year 9 and i am going to pick gcses in a few months. I kind of want o take music. I enjoy listening to music(mostly rock) and i play bit of bass guitar but i am super bad at theory. A lot of people have sai it is really hard so idk if I should do it. Advice would be appreciated,

no GCSE's are worth more than others to be completely honest, unless you need them for after school. Take a look at post school options and decide from there.

Hi, I did GCSE music and I would say don’t worry about it being hard yet as you will get taught what you need to know so try not to worry about that. I definitely didn’t enjoy some parts of it but overall it was one of my more fun subjects and I really did like it!

I am in heat 11 and have taken music. Personally I wouldn’t recommend it as it is very difficult and very stressful but of course it is your choice

is GCSE music worth it
