Its not appropriate in this situation as parental responsibility diminishes as the child gets older. By 16 they are legally entitled to move out and make their own decisions. Barking up the wrong tree.

Do not let her in. If she isnt welcome then ring the police, but if you followed previous advice, then they will already know and will have reassured you of the situation or even visited your mum to deter her from visiting.

That's strange.

The original thread says that she lives with her Aunt, while the later thread says that she lives with her Grandparents.

There was something strange about this thread, the OP was being given some very considered and sage advice by a variety of people and seemed to be ignoring all of it.

I'm at a loss to know why someone would spend the time constructing a thread of this kind just for fun.

why does it say grandparents tho..
How disappointing that people needf so much attention they have to make up such threads and waste peoples time when it could be spent on helping other people.
