I'm starting my 3rd year doing nursing and my next placement is a care home?? Is it worth having a care home placement as I've already had them in 1st year??

Assuming nursing rather than residential home, if they're pretty good with students, then yes. (I know 2 people who had placements in a nursing home in 3rd year. One home let her do loads and were great, the other... weren't).

It's not an inappropriate placement for a third year, you just need to set your learning outcomes effectively to get the most from that environment.

Consider some spoke placements with teams involved with the care home too, so DNs, community matrons or nurse specialists for example.

there are some very specialist nursing homes. the wife did a spoke at a brain injury unit that dealt with locked in syndrome. this turned out very useful 10 years later when she challenged a consultants diagnosis of persistent vegative state. sadly to late for this patient. the wife says if its the last placement maybe not. and to remember your there to learn nursing not hca so be assertive.
