great if you're addicted, but the "women find you more attractive if you don't masturbate" is a load of crap. You just think that because you're h***y af. The testosterone thing also is somewhat overblown. It peaks at day 7 then goes down.

Personally I don't think it's a great idea - there are proven health benefits for sex/masturbation and none for NoFap, plus people do seem to treat it like a cult. But if it works for you it works for you, and if people want to try it and find it improves their life then that's great.

No scientifically demonstrated benefits whatsoever to NoFap. It’s treated as a religion by many though. It’s much more beneficial and easier to just masturbate in moderation and not let it become an addiction.

Very good at helping guys muster the personal responsibility and self-control to overcome an unhealthy porn obsession or creepy addiction.
But the movement has been contaminated by hoards of religious fundamentalists and puritanical weirdos that view almost anything as a revolting sin.

To be honest, I've never thought about anything like this, nor have I looked into any of the background. I'm not fussed - my actions are my own choice, and I won't be influenced by any external sources.

Anecdotal evidence points towards some benefits, but I am dubious due to the lack of scientific evidence in support of it.
Basically, no strong opinion on it. But as mentioned above I do see how it can be a beneficial movement for addicts and ex-addicts.

Works for me, but I'm not going to say it proves anything, it just makes me feel better and more able to enjoy my life.

The whole 'semen retention' thing is just really weird, to be frank, acting like not masturbating somehow attracts women because they can sense your 'seed', I mean come on, why don't you just put your name on the sex offenders list already.

I can attest that it has hugely benefited me doing this has given me more energy and completely killed off anxiety and increased my self-confidence ten fold. Self-discipline and control is a powerful tool.

nothing proven yet cos no one is researching this

the point of no fap is to get over porn addiction, not to give up fapping forever
you see its far easier to quit porn if you stop jerking off

Thanks for your input. I'm tempted to give it a try to really see if the benefits exist.
