I am applying to become a probation officer and I am very worried about the assessment day as I am dyslexic. Do you think this will be taken into consideration at all?
Ironically I have been a teacher for the last 17 years and work in social work before that.

I would suggest that you get a copy of "A Land Fit For Criminals" by Fraser - it's published in the Uk. This will give you an overview of your choosen profession from a long serving probation officer with wide experience. Cheers.
