Classics; Why is the Oxford course longer than the Cambridge one?
I can't find any information that addresses this specific question.
N.b. I'm comparing the standard 3-year Cambridge one (i.e. with no prelim year) to the Oxford course (which I believe is 4 years, regardless of option).
Is the Oxford course more comprehensive? Is the Cambridge one more concentrated and intense?
