I’m a mature student, applying for a midwifery degree starting in January 2021. It’s also my second degree.

From my understanding, I will be entitled to SFE support even though it is a second degree, because it falls under the nursing/midwifery category.

When would I apply for student finance though? Would I apply for the 2020/2021 year because I’d be starting mid way through the year?

Hi, you should apply as soon as possible for the 20/21 academic year
Thanks, Isaac
