Hi all,
I am in my final year of Sixth Form and am looking to do a degree apprenticeship in the computing industry next year. I am a bright student who could very easily be applying for Oxbridge, however I believe apprenticeships are a far better route in an industry like computing.
I would like to do an apprenticeship with a company who's name is renowned, making my placement similar to having Oxbridge on my CV to ensure that I am reaching my potential.
I am going to apply to PwC (through the Birmingham and Leeds schemes via UCAS), EY in Manchester, KPMG and also Accenture.
Does anyone know when Accenture and KPMG applications open (and if they are actually opening due to COVID) as I am already well underway with my EY application and I am hearing no word from Accenture and KPMG.
Also, does anyone have any other recommendations of companies to apply to. I am looking to go into consulting, specialising in machine learning and modelling.
Thanks in advance.

No one knows if they have cancelled their applications for this year, EY always opens early so nothing to worry about. another big one for consulting is capgemini.

theres a list here https://www.reddit.com/r/Apprentices...mployers_2021/ for technology employers and estimated opening dates for this year. from the list i can see kpmg is november and accenture is november, there are many other companies on there.

Hi KPMG apprenticeships have opened now and Morgan Stanley also had a really good tech apprenticeship very similar to the EY. Arup is an engineering firm which also offers technology degree apprenticeships such as software engineering.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the help! I have now got an offer from EY so I am going to leave applying for the other firms so I can focus more on my application for PwC.
